Blame it on the Weather

Published by xin28 at 11:01 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Another gloomy day…. the sun is hidden away behind the clouds and its drizzling outside. Its cold and windy, not a very nice day to be out of the comfort of the house. Even though I have had eight hours of sleep, but still, I’m yawning my head off and I have no mood to do much work. So I did a little research about weather affecting a person’s mood and there is really a disorder about it, called Seasonal Affective Disorder, SAD.

“Matthew Keller, notes that most people feel a little more blue in the winter and better in the spring, with the most extreme example being among those who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a recurrent depression with typical onset during the fall or winter. Previous research has found a connection between hot weather and violent behavior, and sunnier weather improving stock performance.” (quote from Science Daily )

Weather really does affect moods, when it gets too hot, one get cranky and when it gets too cold or rains, one will be depressed. Well, I’m feeling blue right now,  not even sweet food can help lift my mood. Sorry about the short post, really really tired and sleepy, just blame it all on the weather. Well, it kind of can be a good excuse for being late for work or for forgeting to do your homework. Foot in mouth    Please… bring the sun out!
